Blue Ribbon Results Academy is a private, brain-based preschool with locations in Norfolk and Dumfries, Virginia. We serve children ages 2–5 years old, with an innovative curriculum that supports emotional, academic, and social growth using brain science principles.

We have two campuses in Virginia: one in Norfolk at 883 Norfolk Square, Norfolk, VA 23502, and another in Dumfries at 1006 Williamstown Drive, Dumfries, VA 22026.

Yes! We support working families with: Before Care: 6:30 AM – 8:00 AM (includes breakfast, quiet games, exercise, etc..) After Care: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (includes crafts, music, and play)

We use parent communication tools like Brightwheel, phone calls, and social media to stay connected. You’ll always know what your child is learning and experiencing. Additionally, we hold regular parent-teacher conferences and send out monthly newsletters to keep you informed.

Yes! We have year-round open enrollment. Spaces fill quickly. If your child is between 2 - 4 years old, apply today.

We welcome children between the ages of 2.5 and 4 years old. Our programs include: PreK 2 PreK 3 (must be potty trained) PreK 4

Brain-based learning focuses on how young children naturally learn best—through movement, music, storytelling, play, and nurturing relationships. Our curriculum is rooted in neuroscience and built to support whole-child development. It was developed by our founder, Dr. Sheila Holas, a former public school principal, and is designed to enhance intellectual, emotional, and physical capacities.

Yes. Each day includes structured learning blocks such as circle time, calendar math, and learning stations. We also incorporate creative arts, physical activity, outdoor play, and rest time. You can view a sample schedule during your tour or on our Programs page.
